ARUGH

I am not having a good day. I'm here in class with a bunch of kids who couldn't care less about our work if they tried. They don't even pretend. You know, I went to a school board meeting last night, and everyone was dressed nicely and smiling, and they talked about excellence and caring and success... have they ever visited this fourth period? Do they have any idea of the realities of teachers in the classroom? Those kids don't care about excellence, or else they define it so extraordinarily differently from the rest of us, it's basically an alien concept.

I want to scream.

I'm also frustrated by Hunky Latino, by my house, by my computer... everything... but at least it's sunny outside, and that's an improvement from last week.
